What To Expect
A general rule of thumb is that in order to get better at writing, you should read. It teaches you different writing styles, new words and phrases, and could even inspire you to create something new. I tend to be very picky with the kinds of stories I read, and to make matters worse, I also tend to forget to read the ones I do have an interest in. This section of my blog will be dedicated to reading every book that I have collecting dust on my shelves, and providing my thoughts on all of them.
Genres and Requests
Fiction is my preference, and genre could be from a thriller, romance, or drama! As long as it’s interesting, it will be something I will happily read. That being said, the only books I won’t read are any dark romance or books that are extremely gory, just not something I personally enjoy!

Book Rating System

Catagories
A Rating From 1-10
I will start each book review with a rating of the book after I have read it. Without spoilers in case others want to read the story, I will give a rating of the book based on the plot, progression, characters, and other factors that gave the story the rating it was given.
Writing Style
Like an artist with a signature art style or a singer’s genre, writers should have a distinct voice that sets them apart from other authors. Whether it’s a detail-packed writing, a first-person perspective, or a rythmic flow, its important to recongize these voices, and see how it affects the story being told.
New Words I haven’t heard of
We as humans are always learning new things. I will write down every word that I haven’t heard of, and provide a definition to them.
Quotes/Phrases that stuck with me
I will quote phrases or passages that I feel hold weight to the story and/or me personally
